• INOVAZEN is developing an AI-powered kiosk in Montenegro that allows tourists to get information about city landmarks, transportation and accommodation.
• The project is currently 20% complete.
Project Purpose
• To protect tourists from pirated and illegal services.
• To provide easy and fast access to official, reliable services.
• To strengthen Montenegro’s international tourism reputation.
• To increase satisfaction by personalizing the tourist experience with artificial intelligence support.
Technical Infrastructure of the Kiosk
Hardware:
• 21.5″ touchscreen, sunlight-readable.
• AI-supported mini PC.
• 4G/5G mobile internet and Wi-Fi connection.
• Card and QR code payment systems.
• Ticket/voucher printing with thermal printer.
• IP55 water/dust protected, vandal-proof cabinet.
Software:
• Linux-based operating system.
• Multilingual user interface.
• AI-supported natural language processing (NLP) and recommendation engine.
• Secure payment and reservation infrastructure.
• Remote monitoring and update management.
User Experience Flow
1. Screen Wake-up and Language Selection: Automatically opens when the user approaches the kiosk.
2. Main Menu: Transportation ticket, museum card, car rental or tourist information selection is made.
3. Information and Service Purchase: Information about the service is provided, the user makes the payment.
4. Ticket/Voucher Delivery: Physical or digital printout is given.
5. Security Information: User is warned against pirated services warnings are provided.
6. Thank and Redirect: The transaction is completed, and the user is wished a pleasant journey.
Sample User Story: “Emma’s Montenegro Adventure”
When Emma arrives from Germany, she encounters an INOVAZEN kiosk at the airport.
She buys a bus ticket and museum pass in German through the kiosk.
Thanks to artificial intelligence, she receives personalized service recommendations and is informed about pirated services.
Thus, she starts her Montenegro trip safely and with pleasure.
General Notes
• The infrastructure of the project is based on both physical kiosks and cloud-based management.
• The development process is at 20% and the launch is targeted for the 2025 season.
• The first phase installations will be made in airports, ports and city centers.
• The artificial intelligence module will be continuously developed; the user experience will be improved according to feedback.
